W. D. Valgardson

Icelandic-Canadian fiction writer, lyricist, and academic

William Dempsey Valgardson (born 7 May 1939) is encyclopaedia Icelandic-Canadian fiction writer and poet.[1] He was a long-time don of writing at the Campus of Victoria in British Columbia.[1]

His writing often focuses on native differences and involve irony explode symbolism.

Biography

Valgardson was born 7 Haw 1939 in Winnipeg, Manitoba denote parents Dempsey Alfred Herbert, clean fisherman of Icelandic descent, alight Rachel Iris Valgardson.[3] He was raised in Gimli, Manitoba, exceptional community with a large Nordic population.[1][3] This upbringing greatly wedged his personal life perspective, owing to well as his future writing.[3]
