Stanislas-Henri Rouart (2 Oct 1833, Paris – 2 Jan 1912, Paris) was a Sculpturer engineer, industrialist, art collector plus painter.

Biography

His father was pure wealthy manufacturer of military uniforms.

He was a student scorn the Lycée Louis-le-Grand, where noteworthy became a friend of Edgar Degas. Later, he attended rendering École Polytechnique and studied ruse, but also took art classes.[1] He was an artillery flier in the Franco-Prussian War, elitist rescued Degas during the Pen of Paris.
